Back to school~ When?

My kids will go back August 16th. How about your area?

My fifth grader goes back (for what two hours?) on August 24th and my kindergartner starts on the 25th, which is the first full day for everyone.

Here in the Florida panhandle, we starte on August the 5th !!

But.. then again, we get out earlier than most in early May

DW: 08/30 (Works as an SLP in a public school)

Wow, our last day of school (unless there are "snow days") will be June 1st for my boy in kindergarten and the fifth grader goes for an hour on June 3rd. (the 2nd is a teachers institute day, so no school)

Miami-Ft.Lauderdale schools start 8/16 this year (2 weeks earlier than usual)

They don't get out until June 28.

The high school for DS starts Sept. 2. First day of classes for DD at college is August 30.

i think we start august 27 but im not sure. it doesnt matter to me when we start and get out because i will be a senior and i will not have to stay at school until the last day for everyone else. we have a set date when we get out so we will not have to serve the snow days or take finals!!!

I start college on Aug 25, My brother starts college on Aug 23, and the high school where we graduated from starts on Aug 17

Comal County schools (south Texas) go back August 17th. Band, cheerleaders, drill team & sports start August 2nd. That includes me. I'm one of the band directors.
