I don't go back officially until Aug. 21st, but really, I'll be heading in to set up and get ready August 15th.

I don't think our schools start till around the week before Labor day. When I was growing up we got out of school just before Memorial Day, and went back after Labor Day. That always seemed just right to me.

Wow. I just started my summer vacation. I teach summer school though. We got out on June 9th and I had a week off which I spent in WDW. I got lucky this year. We only had summer school for four weeks instead of the usual six. Normally I get three weeks total but this summer I have six weeks since we got out earlier than normal and summer school didn't last as long. I go back on Aug. 23 and the students start the 29th.

I feel your pain! I've been taking summer classes and though my last one is over Aug 5th, I only get 2 weeks off before fall semester begins.

My DS 8 doesn't start back until the day after Labor Day, so I need to get crackin on finding a sitter for the boys that week...
