back to back magic cruises

We booked back to back cruises on the magic for 11/25/06 and 12/2/06. (SPH room 5020!!)
has anyone ever done this before?? Do we have to get off the ship after the first week and check in all over again?
Any tips or info you could share would be great!

I haven't done this yet, but some on the boards have. I was told that you usually do not have to get off the ship on the turnaround morning, but there is a chance that you might. It's really up to the Customs/Immigration people that are handling the ship that morning. I do think you have to vacate your room (you can leave the luggage if you've got the same room).

Oh my! I want to do that so bad!!!!!!! If you are willing, would you PM me with info about cabin info,numb of people and price? I currently have 05-27-06 booked but if doable , price wise, I would love to do back to back!

Haven't done it yet but we'll doing back-to-backs in August 2006. I was been told by Danielle (CM who booked our cruises) that we do not have to get off the ship -- just stay out of the way of CM's cleaning up, etc. Most likely we'll get off and go check out the Kennedy Space Center. The nice thing is we have the same room for both cruises so we won't have to unpack and move. HTH
