Plaza Restaurant-great potato salad and sandwiches. Service was good. Not too expensive for dinner.
San Angel-service very good, sat just as the band was starting. Not expensive at lunch. I got the natchos with chicken and sausage. Tasty.
Rose and Crown-good service. Very crowded. Sat inside but that was fine since it was raining/lightning. A bit expensive-had the steak and prawns, DH had bangers and mashed. Desserts were very good. Try the toffee pudding.
Brown Derby-great Cobb salad as always. Service was good but I am not sure how she felt about us sharing the salad. We both got lobster bisque, shared the cobb and shared a dessert. Server said they took the quessidias (sp?) off the menu because "too many people were having it as a meal." On a sad note we were sitting above a mother/daughter and the daughter tried to leave a tip with the bill. The mother took it out of the bill, put it in her pocketbook and said "we do not tip for salads." !!!
Boma-great as always. I love this buffet!
Tusker House-Soggy salad. Too bad I like this place.
House of Blues-noisy and crowded but a lot of fun. Good service! They all really work hard. Shrimp Po Boy very good Drinks $$ but good.
Liberty Tree Tavern-excellent service. Salad was awsome. DH had pork chop loved it.
Marrakesh-way overpriced. Had the Marrakesh Feast and they did not serve us everything on the list! Service very good otherwise. Belly dancer a lot of fun. Could have eaten at California Grill for the same $$!
Boatwrights-liked this breakfast before but the service was off this time. very slow.
Hollywood and Vine-loved this buffet. Awsome selections. good service. Will be back for the Fantasmic! Dinner Package.
Rainforest Cafe (AK)- had a voucher and shared everything. Service excellent. She said "these coupons are an awsome deal" and was happy to split everything. Left a bit extra for tip.
Chefs de France-excellent service. Very nice waiter. Did the lunch deal for $14.95-onion soup, ham and cheese sandwich with salad and creme brule. Lots of food. Tasty.
Columbia Harbor House-PACKED on Saturday 30th. They kept things moving quickly though! Pretty tasty food. very loud people in there.
Enjoyed it all but mostly HandV and Boma!
