Back Seat Organizer

I had this message on the family board, but didn't get a lot of response. I am putting it here, because all of us campers spend ALOT of time on the road.

Anyway, we are coming down with our 2kids (DD7 and DS5). Our minivan has bucket seats, so no good way to put something inbetween them. Can anyone reccommend an organizer that hangs on the back of the seats? Ideally we would like one with trays, but that is not necessary

Try this site: www.perfectlysafe.com and then go to the "on the go" sub category. We drove down in our mini in 2006 and we had my son who was 4 on the back bench seat and used one of the seat organizers from this site that goes under the booster seat. We then put my daughter who was 6 in the middle row that had the two bucket seats like you guys do, but we used one of those organizers that you strap to the back of the passenger front seat and then got her a little canvas bucket to put next to her on the floor. Both of those were a god send. We had a great time driving down that year and we cant wait to do it again in 2009. Let me know what you find and how you make out. I forgot to mention........we also wanted trays but had a hard time finding them but then we found that those plastic molded lap trays that have deep pocket on each end worked good ........they fit right over their lap and kept the crayons and coloring books in one spot. I think they had Dora and Pooh Bear on them and were only about 5 or 6 bucks. We also put a sheet on the seat under the carseat/booster so all we had to do when we stopped was pull out the carseat and shake out the sheet......no messy car when we were traveling. Ok I think I am done for now. LOL

I didn't check to see if it is still available, but Disney on-line used to have an organizer like your looking for, hung on the back of a seat and had pockets and such. Check under Auto Accesseries on line.

Where did you find the lap trays?

I found them at walmart over by the crafty section in the toy department.
