I read somewhere about taking back roads to get to WDW from the Reunion. I've searched and can't find them. Does anyone have any tips on getting to the parks for rope drop or for 8:00am ADR's? Thanks!

Drive down Old Lake Wilson Road toward Kissimmee. At 192, turn left, then turn right at the next light (Sherbeth Road). Just follow Sherbeth, then turn right onto Osceola Parkway and follow the signs.

Honestly, tho, if you're up by the Publix it's quicker to just take I-4. It's only two exits (use exit 62), and traffic is rarely bad this far west.

I am at Reunion right now and just realized there is an entrance/exit to Reunion right on Old Lake Wilson Rd. Definitely the quickest way to get to the parks and you avoid I-4.

Same to you! We were just there for a long Mother's Day weekend but had a fabulous time. Water park was great!

I know this thread is kind of old but I am looking for approximate drive times from Reunion resort to Magic Kingdom area. Google maps shows about 15 miles but that could mean anything in actual drive time . . let's say most popular times of day and off times for comparison sake. TIA!

A simple answer is about 30 min .

It could be 15 , 20, 25 min. Does it really matter .

You are on Holiday relax .

Enjoy the drive around Reunion and marvel at the huge villas ,stop worrying

about the time it takes as traffic is traffic , & queues will be queues

There will be QUEUES anyway in the Theme Parks.

I would love to "relax" but when taking two kiddos under four, drive time is just another excuse for a meltdown. And when returning to the home for nap time every day and then back . . .it tells me that this resort is not a good fit for our family at this point in time. Thank you for providing the information.
