So I started this question on another question( for walking at oak trail golf course, and trying to rent a cart. That answer was can not rent a cart) on another fourm. It really brought up another good question,I suffer from really bad lower back, hip and legg pain when walking for a pro long time and or twisting. What are the best tempoary remedies i could use walking in the park and or the golf course??. So In the past I find my self colapsing after a day In the parks:scared1:,my back and hip hurteing to the point of almost being numb. I am not expecting a mircale remmedie,or sulition, its my body and thats the way It is:sick:,it is what it is. I just would like to find something that around 6pm give me a little relife.

Could you try thermacare heatwraps for some relief?? They also have Bengay pads that stick to you and there is another heat relief pad but not sure of the name of it. It may be worth a shot.

Its funny or sad:confused3, i went to the Dr today and I got better advice from my friends at dis, thank you all:goodvibes. I will try the pads,I am playing golf this Sunday and will give it a shot then. I will throw In some Ibrofhin/motrin to

Not sure if you are a ride only kind of person at the parks, but if not mix up your activities at the parks with shows, parades, fireworks, rides, and eats. Wind down especially towards evening and do less stressful activities.

If you like to swim go back to the resort mid day (during the heat of the day) and enjoy that activity for a while and then go back to resort. You can take a nap, too mid day.

Please consider renting an ECV! I think you would be amazed at how much more you would enjoy your WDW experience.

I am not sure If I am ready for a ECV??,the pain is in tense yes,but I want to try to walk. Paceing my self is a must. I will just streach more, use those pads and lose some weight:rotfl2: ok that wont happen by or during our trip but its sommething I can work on.

I'm right there with ya on the bad back (bulging discs, spinal stenosis, and spinal arthritis). Usually I swear by Icy Hot back patches. Also, I bought something on Amazon, it's a back warmer that you put in the microwave to heat up, then tie around your waist. It's definitely too bulky to wear at the parks. Great for evenings in your room, however. Works like a heating pad, but no cord and plug to tie you to one spot. Let me know if you need more info on it.

Thats funny you mention that my DS just bought two from Amazon he said that hes brining both so i could use it at night. He Is such a great son:goodvibes. I am going to start these back excersises to,try to stragenthen my back, even if its just a little.

My experience is-be careful with the back strengthening exercises. When I did them, they made my back feel worse, so after a couple weeks, I stopped. Now I just walk a mile in the mornings and about 10 minutes of stretching. Doctor's appointment tomorrow, then WDW in 2 weeks. I'll let you know if I get any tips from him tomorrow. When do you go?

Try Tylenol Precise back heat patches. They've saved me several times when my back hurt with the walking in WDW.

ya I dont try to over do it with the streaches, walking is a great warm up for my back. I just do what i can and no more. I am trying to save my back, not kill it more. I really try to focus on the lower back. I really I am hopeing to not let it ruin my activetys my dad had the same problem, and when he retired and stop doing his daily activetys, thats when it all went down hill,it only got worse untill he pass on. At the end he could not even get up:sad2:. I am trying to get a step up on it, i hope i acted fast eough??,some times its like how do i get past this pain?:sad2:
