back packs on rides

just wondering what do you do with your backpacks on rides? I will be using one to carry camera and things, like dd's Cinderella dress and shoes on the day we go to Princess breakfast. I'm not a fanny pack person, lol, I'll already have to worry if there's enough room for my belly without a fanny pack on it, lol. So, we will be using the backpack everyday.

Depends on how big it is. I've used like the Nike drawstrings ones and always just held onto it. Even for RnR and Space Mountain. I've never had any problems. I can't be bothered with lockers, LoL.

it's not a very big one, just my daughter's Strawberry Shortcake school backpack.

I take a nice padded one for my camera equipment and i just hold onto it or wrap it around my ankles. Depends on the ride.

If you'll be a little leery about holding onto it, I'd say stow it. But if you think it will be fine, just keep a tight grip. I usually wind the string around my hand. You could probably put that top loop on the backpacks around your wrist to secure it.

We generally put it by our feet on the rides. We haven't been on one yet where it didn't fit. Although ours is probably a medium size backpack. We have seen some that are almost the size of the person carrying it. Those you might need to put in a seat beside you if the ride allows it.
