Back from yesterday's London Meet...

We all had a good time at yesterday's meet at the Dickens Inn....lots of chatting, laughing and drinking! It was good meeting up with old friends and new.......and I think some photos were taken too (gulp!) so they may get posted some time soon!


Shaun, ALexandra, Laura and I went up to Harrods afterwards....to meet Father Christmas and of course we just 'happened' to pass the Krispy Kreme stall in the Food Hall! Well, it wasn't our fault that they were just 'forcing' them on passersby was it!

Oh Alison I had to pop into Harrods the other day and had a Krispy Kreme and aren't they just to die for ?! - I got one just off the line as well - fabulous

Well, I have to say that I didn't actually have one! I could have cried when I stood there and smelt the wondeful odour of them being baked as I watched - but I stood firm (feeling the wrath of the DIS WISH board upon my neck) and said no!

Aren't you proud of me? (And believe me, I adore donuts above all other food.)

So sorry I couldn't make it guys, glad you all had such a good time.

Still haven't figured out why the trains were taking so long yesterday, I asked a 'close' friend of mine who works for the railways this morning and he thinks it was engineering works, I reckon it's another one of those conspiracy theories trying to stop me re-visiting the Dickens Inn!! This is the second Meet there that I haven't been able to attend!

I saw the Krispy Kreme place in Harrods the other weeks when I was up there but, shock horror, have never seen them before let alone tried them - By the sounds of Sam's and Alison's posts I'm obviously missing out on something delicious here!!
