We got back from our Christmas week trip last Tuesday, Jan. 3rd. I will have to say if it had been my first visit to WDW, I'm not sure I would try another trip - parks were packed (which I assumed from reading these boards) but we got to do everything we wanted. My top 2 highlights: Candlelight Procession with Steven Curtis Chapman and the Osborne Lights. Big disappointment was the Scrapbook store in DTD - I think they are really missing the boat with carrying such a small supply of items.

Started scrapping Saturday - I developed over 200 digital prints and 3 rolls of 35mm film, plus the free 5 x 7 for having a Disney Visa card (with Minnie/Goofy) to go through. I usually pick out paper & group pics together first - seems to save me time since I obsess about what goes better with each grouping. I actually completed the title page and did all my journaling on Sunday, so let the cutting & pasting begin.

The worst part of the trip was that I had to put my kitty of 9 1/2 years to sleep on Saturday. She had cancer and was in a lot of pain, so I know it's for the best, but it's still hard to take.

Thanks so much for all the advice and good bargains I learned from these boards (Guaradelli coupon, buy ala carte items at CS restaurants, etc.).

Yes, I remember the first time I went to the scrapbooking store in DTD and being so excited. I was so let down when I saw the selection and ended up buying a bunch of stuff that I haven't used yet.

Glad the rest of your trip was fun though. Christmas is such a pretty time to go!

sorry about your kitty. :flower3:

Have fun scrapping, and I think we all do that the first time we go to the DTD store.

MissBubbles...I'm so sorry about your kitty. One of my cats had cancer and we had to let him go a couple years ago. As much as you know this is the right thing to do b/c they're suffering so much, it's still hard.

In early December we found out our Black Lab had a 2nd/3rd stage Mast Cell Tumor on his side that we had to have removed. It was cancereous but my wonderful vet thinks he got it all. However w/it being a borderline 3rd stage that means more than likely the cancer has spread and we'll see more of these tumors to come up. Eventually we'll lose him but hopefully not for several more years. He was 10 in August so if we have him another 2 - 5 yrs, I'll be ok w/it I guess. He is such a good dog and we love him dearly. He's so darn big he scares everyone to death!! He weighs 133 lbs and has these huge feet that he expects you to shake when he sees you. People who come over and don't know him will ask if he'll hurt them...my reply... "Only if he steps on your toe!" :rotfl2: We're hoing to get a yellow lab in the Spring so Max can teach the new puppy how to be a good baby too!

Gez, I can't believe I forgot to put this in here...started talking about Max and got side tracked.......
Check out Scrapyourtrip.com for some pretty cool stickers and paper. Good prices too.

Thanks for your good wishes. I had two cats for 9 years - lost Phoebe last year to heart problems and now Athena.

I still have 3 dogs - a schipperke, a schauzer mix and a beagle - to keep me hopping.

I bought soooo much stuff to scrap with - I want to do pretty much a "Christmas" only style book. I have enough supplies to put together 3 or 4 books at least - plus I saved some cute Christmas cards that I got in the mail.
