I am finally getting a chance to post my trip report and come here and check in with all you guys!!! We got back last Sunday and I've been sick this week. :( So it's taken me longer than usual to get my trip report going.

If anyone has any questions about the Poly (8 nights), AKL (2 nights), or Swan (1 night), lay 'em on me!!! :teeth:

And don't forget to check out my trip report on the trip reports board! :earsgirl:

Welcome back! I hope you had a "magical" time!

I just wanted to know how you like/dislike the Poly and the AKL? Which one you like better and why? Did you get the Savannah view? Did you get the Lagoon view? Thanks!! :)

Welcome back! Sorry to hear about you being sick (are you sick as a result of PDD?) :)

Very excited to read your reports, but grab a cup of soup and anti-bacterial your keyboard before you post!

I hope you feel better!!!

Which was your favorite resort and why?

:wave2:

Welcome Back Erika. I'm sure you found the Poly as magical as we did. I can't wait to read your trip report, especially about all the Happiest Celebration On Earth activities. Hope you feel better.....

ADP :goodvibes

Welcome back. Hope you're back on your feet soon!!

How was Poly? Which building were you in? How was the service? Anxious to hear since there have been a few negative reports lately.

Thanks!!

Fantasia - Day two of my trip report is now up and it gives more info and pictures of our room at the Poly. :) We enjoyed it very much... being close to MK is really great for our family. AKL was also wonderful. We were in a deluxe king room savannah view... no kids with us... and I would take that room again in a heartbeat! :) Day six of my trip report, which I'm still working on, will give all the details and pictures. :) Any other questions?

Hey Dave! You know the best cure for WDW PPD?? Booking a trip as soon as you get home!!! :rotfl: Now I've got a new countdown. ;)

gm - I've always said my favorite resort was a tie between the GF and YC. But I really love the Poly, AKL, and WL also. :teeth: It's so hard to say which is better. It really just depends on which parks you'll spend most time at, what sort of theme you like, what kind of nightlife you want, etc. Probably everytime someone asks me this question my opinion changes. ;)

cdpa4d - Oh just wait until you see days 6 and 7 of my trip report!!! :)

eeyoresmountainpals - Go check out Day two of my trip report for pictures from our balcony and room info. I really don't have anything negative to say about the Poly. Our stay was great! :)

Thanks Erika. I will visit the other board. I hope you are feeling better! :)

Hello Erika - back to the grindstone!
We've booked the Swan for June was wondering how you found it and did you eat at any of their restaurants?? :wave2:

Hey Erika!
I hope you're feeling better.
I also finally started our trip report last night. But I don't have an excuse like being sick all week. I'm just a procrastinator suffering from PDD :teeth: and trying to catch back up at work.
Looking froward to reading yours and comparing notes.

gortatlea - The Swan is a wonderful resort. My husband and I first stayed there a couple of years ago for our anniversary. I find it to be a great resort for couples traveling without children because it has a more adult and business traveler feel to it. The biggest plus is its location! You are a stones throw from MGM and Epcot, and also the whole Boardwalk area which is fun. :) In the past we have eaten at Palio many times. It's one of our favorites restaurants at WDW. Delicious italian food, strolling musicians, incredible lobster tortellini, yummmm! :) They also have a sushi place with nightly karoke. A very fun place to hang out. :teeth:

Hey there Stitch Inside!!! Best cure for PDD is booking another trip! ;)

We got back last Sunday (midnight :earseek: ) too and DH and both sons caught a nasty cold. I'm the last one standing! Glad you had a great trip!

We are all sick as well. I just got home from the urgent care center and I have strep throat. :( No wonder I feel so bad. Maybe something was going around at the Poly?? Hopefully I'll get better fast.

Something was definitely going around at AKL. I saw many sneezy, coughing tourists on the buses and in the lobby. Luckily no one got sick until the day after we got home. Hope you feel better soon!
