Back from Walt's park...

While we are normally WDW travellers since the family started going, we decided to take a trip out to California and visit Walt's park.
and....


IT WAS AWESOME!

every Disneyphile needs to take a trip out there. While it is a completely different experience it is one that is totally worth it. Some of my observations...

Main park - Disneyland has MK beat . Most of the rides that are shared are longer in DLR and just seem to be "fresher." DLR also has more rides than MK and several that MK just doesn't have. DLR laid out nicely and has more greenery.

Food - hands down WDW. Way more options and just plain better restaurants.

Getting around - DLR. no busses, boats, etc. to get from place to place. JUST WALK!

Other parks - WDW. While California Adventure is neat and World of Color is INCREDIBLE, the other parks at WDW are much better.

Shows - DLR wins this one too- WOC, F!, etc are just indescribable.

Lodging - WDW - the theming and resort atmosphere are better here.

Again, these are just my thoughts and again I encourage everyone to make a trip out to SoCal!
