Actually been back a couple weeks but just getting the time to post.

We had a great trip! This trip was 5 adults, me, my SO, MIL, SIL, and BIL (2B). It was my SO's family 1st time since the 80's going to Disney, and the 1st time ever staying in a Disney resort. From the time they walked into the lobby it was "oohs," and "ahhhs", and I knew right then why we bought into DVC, (well at least one of the reasons) to share the magic that is Disney, and we had magic from the time of check in on wards. I had requested a 2 bedroom close to the elevator w/ a pool/lake view, and I got EXACTLY what I asked for w/ room 4519. Picture of the view we had from our room, and a couple other of my fav from the trip, are located at the link below.

This was my 1st trip w/ the in-laws and I have to say I was nervous, but everything turned out great. We where worried that MIL would end up sitting out and holding the bags on the more "exciting" rides (she was too actually), but she decided she was going to try them all. Well not only did she try them all, her favorite rides where RRRC and Mission Space! Wishes brought tears to their eyes, and Illumination just had everyone happy afterwards. We also went to the "Spirt of Aloha" Luau, and to see Cirque du Soliel, and "wow" was about all anyone could say afterwards.

The only "bad" thing about the trip is we needed at least one extra day in the middle just to rest. Since it was their first time in so long we did it commando style and by Friday night (trip was Sun - Sat) everyone was beat!

Well I just wanted to share ....

welcome back - cool pics - thanks!

Glad you had much magic for your trip with the in-laws!!

We also love VWL. It is a great place to relax and enjoy. Know what you mean about a day in between to rest. It really does make a difference.

Hope you have many more Disney magic trips.

Glad you had fun on your trip. We stayed in 4511 two weeks ago, were you there over Halloween? I think our master bedroom looked out to your balconies, judging from the view from your room. One question, could you hear the elevators at night?

Didn't you just love that view? We also brought family who had never been to a Disney resort and they were so impressed. VWL really helped make the trip.

I've been thinking about requesting that villa, how did you like the setup? And, was it a problem only having 1 balcony instead of 2?
