Whew, here we go. Laundry running, DH sleeping, time to report.........
Day 1: Sunday 3am;
We leave the house, hated leaving my little kitty, but oh well, neighbor will take good care of her I know. Uneventful drive to Orlando, took I-95 all the way down to I-4. Arrived at Hilton Garden Inn with view of Seaworld. I thought it was a good view. Only thing you could actually clearly see was Kraken, top of Journy to Atlantis, the elevator ride thingy, and Shamu's stadium. Room was exceptionally clean with refrig and microwave. We dropped our stuff and went right over to Sea World to exchange our 2 day tickets for 7 day tickets. Did a bit of shopping. Did see Odyssea at the Nautilus Theater. That show was incredible!!! If you enjoy acrobatics and such this is a must see. Made our way over to the Budwiser place. Had to get picture of DH with Dale Jr's car. LOL. We then headed back to hotel where we promptly collapsed.
Day 2: Monday;
We get up grab a yogurt and coffee and head over to Seaworld. Walk is about maybe 1/2 mile from hotel. Real easy to get to. Walk straight through parking lot, hang right at end and walk right up to front gate. Saved on parking, (something DH loved) First thing I wanted to do was pet and feed the dolphins. Always wanted to do this, so we make a rush for the dolphin pool along with various kids. Thanks to DH's map reading ability we took a short cut and beat all the kids to it. LOL Feeding time isn't till 10am and it is now 9 am. So I just go over to pet them. WARNING: WEAR NOTHING AROUND YOUR NECK THAT DANGLES...........I had a waterproof neck wallet on and the Dolphin I was petting must of thought it was a fish, cause she grabbed on to it. Did you know that Dolphins have teeth? I just learned that. LOL Well after she grabbed at my neck wallet, I became very intimidated and said ok, lets go. LOL....We went over to Journy to Atlantis, not open yet. So we walk over to Kraken, also not open yet. So, we walk around Kraken, we somehow got in the exit lanes and actually walked all the way up to the loading platform of Kraken (strange no one stopped us). So we walk all the way back down, by that time Journy to Atlantis was open. DH goes right on, without me. I did NOT want to get wet. He said it was alright. We then headed to see the show Clyde and Seamore. We sat at the very very top of the stadium, and I must say, they were great seats, far from show yes, but no one behind us, so me being so short could stand and see it all. It is true what everyone says......The Mime was the funniest part of show..........He was so funny and what made it really fun was that the people he made fun of had no clue. LOL After the show we head back to Kraken, once again I did not go on. I'm a true coward......So after DH did Kraken it was time to go on my favorite thing 'The Sky Tower' I love elevator rides.....It was BEAUTIFUL, we could see the Magic Kingdom Castle, Epcots ball, our hotel......duh, it's right across the parking lot.......lol. It cost $3 extra, but I thought well worth it. We went to eat at Seafire Inn, it was pretty good. After eating we went to see Blue Horizions. We sat in the third row center, WHAT A GREAT SHOW!!!! It was beautiful, wonderful, incredible.............Go see it!!!!!!! Then we made our way to Shamu.........We once again had good seats, but........evidently the Shamu family was having personal problems (according to the trainer) and was not in th mood to perform.
But I don't believe you can go to Sea World and not see Shamu. Well, by this time we were pretty tired so back to the hotel. Saw a lot today, and tomorrow was yet to come. Laid in bed, watched tv, I sat in window watching SeaWorld. Then eventually went to bed.
Day 3................coming soon I promise
