Back home
had yet another great trip to our second home
.
Highs:
Just being there!!
Great character interaction especially the evil queen and Gaston! Love how they keep in character all the time. Gaston was comparing hairstyles with my teenage son and gel they used was very funny and I got a kiss lol. My daughter meeting her favourite princess Snow White again she just loves her.
Being altogether as a family! Doesn't happen that often now the children are getting older!
Not being busy, this is the second year we've been at May half term think we'll stick with it, longest we queued all week was 40 minutes for the parachute drop, rest of the time rides were virtually walk on.
'firsts' - every trip we always have to try to do something new this time was breakfast in Inventions - very nice . And cocktails in the Fantasia Bar.
My son getting some great swaps for his vinylmation collection.
Think the scrums seem to be a bit more organised from either the characters themselves or the CM's telling people to step back and taking people in turn etc.
Meeting some lovely people., as well as great cast members.
Taking a tip from here about going up the Montparnasse to view Paris rather than the Eiffel tower - brilliant went about 7 pm no queues and hardly anybody there and you get to see the Eiffel tower in all it's glory! - we used our tesco vouchers too so it was free!
Lows:
New princess ticket system sorry don't like it. I know it was made worse by the fact we were queuing in the pouring rain but at least with the old way we could keep checking on the queue times and join when low, we've never queued for more than an hour even in August.
Toad Hall and BTM being closed
Very rude guests but that applies to anywhere but seems worse when you're in your Disney bubble and somebody is nasty to you
And just a couple of things I noticed, they seem to have now installed voucher exchange machines at the entrance to cut queues, haven't noticed them before. And it looks like (although our French isn't brilliant!)., that you can now pay for annual passes monthly with a ¬40 deposit (could be wrong and maybe it's just for French residents but there were posters advertising it)
So that's it really can't imagine never not going, pure escapism from life, just great.
