And what a grand time we had. This was the first time for my 5 yr old twins. It was truly magical. Not just for them, but for us as well...

I want to post about one of our findings that really sucked. We chose the Travelodge Anaheim hotel on West Ball. The hotel was ok, kind of old but very quiet. And it was pretty clean. But there is no shuttle service anymore. Apparently, the driver was a bit cockoo and when they complained, the dropped the entire route. I guess this effects other hotels in the area. So, we were left to walk (which is hard when we have little kids, walking back and forth for naps, etc) or driving the one block, paying $11 and being shuttled to the main gate. It worked okay, but it was not expected.

But that was the ONLY negative thing on our trip. We were there on Sunday and Monday (April 29-30) and the crowds were really down. We walked on many rides, or at the most, waited 20 minutes for some rides. The fireworks were spectacular, though they were delayed 15 minutes due to wind. We were lucky they didn't cancel them, which they did the prior evening...

Thank you ALL for all of your wonderful insight. It really help make our trip truly magical...

I'm glad you and your family got to see the fireworks, Disney magic must have been at work! :wizard:
