Hi there back now from a wonderful Halloween half term break absolutly shattered my feet still ache but cant believe this my 4th visit in 2 years how many firsts I did. Went with a friend and her 2 girls and my little princess DD Lois stayed at Newport Bay for 5 days.
Highs. loads
Mickeys not so scary hallowen party. brillianr so much to do we didnt see it all and didnt stay up for the 1am dreams show. Saw minnie and Mickey in halloween outfits donald and daisy queues ok plus saw Giselle from film enchanted. We choose to watch the goofy/pluto show instead of Tianas Molly Brown boat show big mistake after watching the molly brown boat on web when back it looked a far better show that plutos halloween show. bit still great night.
massive high Meeting Garston!!!!! DD is a big Belle fan and he was absolity 100% in character he even poicked DD up to show her his muscles !!!!!!!! best character greet Ive ever seen plus we were the only ones in queue!!
didnt see loads of characters althiugh tbh other than the unquie halloween ones we weren't looking to queue this trip. Asked about princess fast pass idea but no one knew presume it had stopped it was 31st Oct
Auberges, FANTASTIC!!!!! DD celebrated her 6th birthday (albeit a week early!!!) they couldn't do enough for us changing both a kids and adult meal becuase we didnt like and replacing free of charge and we got a bottle of water free too!!! the Menu not as nice as when I went in 2010 and dont get as much as you used too but still love this place. Ps they changing the kids menu next week too.
Ordered Lois dd a cake for her birthday at Auberges, Lady Tramine the step mother and step sisters brought it out and sung Happy Birthday to Lois who was dressed as cinderella she had the biggest smile on her face. All princesses spent ages with children, my friends little one was asleep in her buggy when the charcters first came round but they all happily came back when she woke up.

Newport Bay couldnt fault it even when breakfast was busy they filtered people into using the convention centre for breakfast too never queied once plus had lovely meal in cape cod. The hotel looked beautiful at night too.
Cafe Mickey 2nd visit now loved it again, Restuarant des starts was brilliant first visit and would defo go back the waiter who brings remy round spent ages with the kids
Using my Shareholders card for the first time very special and saved me a small fortune on meals loved going in saloon mickey my friend very impressed with how much we saved by having this card.
I did so many firsts a big high for me especaillly many of the rides, POC first time, the storybook ride, casey junior, crushes coaster, army men from toys story althugh some queues were big. This was my 4th visit and I still found many firsts to do!. Only one ride I havent done now is Indiana Jones
Dreams !!!!!!!!!!!! absolutly fantastic waited until our last night to watch it so glad we did meant we left park on a massive high!!!. we had a great spot on a bench middle of catle we sat down with kids and waited for an hour but my feet were glad of the rest. Dreams itself spectacular
weather was ok too 2 days dry 2 days raining but didnt stop our fun
Lows. not many on our fisrt day 31st they had no english park maps!!!!
luckily I knew my way round but bad really.

........sign said 75 minutes but more like 90minutes this made us late for the halloween party ride was good wouldn't queue again though for that length of time.
Great time cant wait to return, we Going back in 4 months during the Easter holdays taking my DH and son cant wait for them to see Dreams
