Back from the cardiologist, good news

well Im so glad thats over!!

There is no permanent damage to my heart that they can see.

What I am dealing with is a really bad infection from my root canal. The cardiologist said it will likely take quite a long time to recover 100% from it. He said that basically my entire body was ravaged from this infection and that I cant expect to heal quickly.
He also said this could have been MUCH worse and we very lucky to have caught it when we did and that I did the right thing by coming in. He siad that these can be deadly if left alone.

He didnt think there was any long term damaage of anything though.

SO good news is Ill be ok, the bad news is it will take awhile.

Have you ever been told you have Mitral Valve Prolapse? People with MVP are given antibiotics before dental work.

What great news! My DH is a dentist and he said these types of infections can lead to endocarditis which can be fatal very quickly. I hope you feel better very soon. Continued good thoughts your way!
