Back from surprise trip!!

Our family, my wife and son, just returned from our 2 day BCV and 4 day cruise. The trip was a surprise for our son! He thought we were going to Myrtle Beach for the week. On Friday morning, we told him there was a problem with the camper and that I was able to make a last minute ressie at BCV for a couple days. He thought we were going to board a bus for the coast for a few days and, with the help of the CM's, when the Disney Cruise line bus pulled up to the Beach Club, he was told what was happening and was the first one on the bus!

He was totally surprised and thrilled with the cruise...as were we!

The BCV were very nice. We had a studio with a pool view.

I love surprising the kids! The only thing we have in store for Monday (3 more days!!) is that we rented a convertible. My youngest is about to turn 15 and is bringing a 14 year old cousin, so this should be a big highlight of his trip. Me, I'd rather keep the top up and the a/c blasting.

Of course, if his 102 temp doesn't go down soon, our alternatives don't look pretty.

It wasn't easy keeping the secret. Part of the fun with Disney trips is talking it up! Like I said, as far as he knew, we were heading for Myrtle Beach. He kept asking questions about our lodging at the Beach. I said, "I'm not sure, I had the travel agent book it, I think it's a Hyatt".

I'm real pleased with myself and my wife for not "spilling the beans"!! She almost slipped up a couple times. Thankfully, he didn't pick up on what she was saying.

By the way, if you get a chance to see "Shockwave" at Epcot, DON'T MISS IT. It was great!
