Back from RPR- great trip!!!

Just left today from RPR. Had a GREAT trip! Hotel was awesome... we booked at a Universal hotel just to get FOTL access and it was well worth it!! Plus, we loved being able to walk back and forth btw hotel and parks. Also used the water taxi and it was quick and easy as well.

About the Royal Pacific...

Pros: Beautiful hotel, nicely furnished rooms, short walk to parks & city walk, pool was very kid friendly (would have liked a water slide, but went to Hard Rock one day for that), staff had warm towels waiting for us at entrance when we were caught in the rain, easy check in, nice staff, great character meals (didn't even need a reservation when we went) overall a great resort!

Cons: no free wi fi in room, no fridge in room, our room was a little smaller than most hotel rooms I thought (1608 was the room #), didn't like that we had to pay to park, not enough TV channels and remote was weird, can't really think of anything else without being totally nit picky!!

Overall we had a great trip and would do it again!

Parking was $15 a day, or 22 for valet.... we did the valet parking, which looking back was probably a mistake bc we only took our car out one time to do sea world. They make you say up front how you want your parking billed (or that's what we had to do)... next time I would do the self park I think.

I HATE when hotels make you pay to park!! Valet, sure, but self park, rediculous. Ugh. There's an added expense I didn't know about... *sigh*

I'm glad to hear that overall your stay was great though. We're staying there next week - also for the first time so we can try out fotl.
