Back from Pop and Contemporary 12/15-12/21

I'll try to make this as brief as possible! We returned from our trip on the 21st and had the best time! After researching for months we decided to try the Pop out. We figured we're not going to be in our rooms that much so what difference does it make! We checked in around 3pm and I'm not sure which building it was but it had Lady and the Tramp outside of it. We didn't pay for a preferred room, but it was right next to the main building! We were pretty excited about that! We had a room facing the bowling pool. It was too loud, but we were only there 2 nights and you could still hear children in the pool at 10pm, but we were so tired we didn't care. We also had ajoining rooms, one with a king bed and the other with 2 doubles. We loved having this also...if you can afford it I would recommed! WE ended up switching hotels due to the long lines with the buses. I read before we left that sometimes they can be bad. I guess I didn't think they would be that much of a pain! I think if our daugther was a little older and could understand that you need to wait sometimes, it wouldn't of been so bad. After waiting over and over again for almost an hour to go somewhere and come back to the hotel we decided we needed something closer! We ended up at the Contemporary. We were suppose to have a garden view room, but when we got there they not only upgraded us to the tower room, but it had a view of the Magic Kingdom! We were in heaven after that!
I was surprised how busy the Pop was because I didn't think the crowd were that bad.....and I've seen Disney crowded before! I will say this....that was a great week to go! Towards the end of the trip we could see the parks and buses get fuller, but the weather was great and Christmas at Disney is perfect! I think this is something we will do every year!
