My family and I got home on the 26th.

We had a Wonderful vacation, dispite the heat. However I don't think I'll go in August (summer) again. The temps. were in the low to mid 80s with a heat index around 102 for many of the days. We did this trip because my wife wanted to do it over her birthday (turned 40 the day we boarded the Wonder).

We had great service on the ship, from stateroom to the dining rooms and all around the ship. Loved the family we were dining with, we loved to food served in all the dining areas. Castaway Cay was beautiful (and hot). We did the Nature Hike and Kayak excursion, had a lot of fun.

For anyone on the ship, did you hear what the medical emergency was. We stopped just out of Freeport for several hours before the ship medical crew got back on board and we took off.

Try to answer any questions you have, it was DW, DS (12) and me.

Hi! Welcome back! Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. I just have a few questions plz. Did you do a 3 or 4 night. If 3, did you find the trip a bit too short? What cat and deck did you stay at? Or maybe the stateroom (if you want to share that with us). Did you like the location? On the disembarkement day, did you stay a little bit longer on the ship or did you leave as soon as they got to the Port? I'm thinking of staying for a little while just to walk around the ground for one last time or maybe just sleeping in just an hour longer, but I don't want to miss our transfer bus. Thank you in advance! :)

1. We did the 4 night cruise. My DW and I believe that 3 night cruises are too short. We really enjoyed that last day at sea. We did a 3 night cruise for the first cruise with our DS back in 1999 and it really does go by too quickly.

2. We were cat. 5, deck 7 in room 7592. It was a couple of doors down from the laundry room which was nice. We did some while at Nassau. We spent most of our time on the ship, and most of the washers and driers were open at that time. There was no problem with noise. We have done Nassau a couple of times and decided to enjoy the ship while most of the people were off doing their thing. I would recommend this part of ship. And the veranda was really nice. The other two times we cruised we did not have one.

3. We had an 11:55 am flight out so we were one of the first ones off after they announced the ship was cleared to disembark. If you have a late flight, I would stay on board as long as possible. Better than sitting at the airport for a long period of time. We've done that before.
