We were at BWV 12/5-12/11. We had a very nice trip overall, and are already planning next year's trip(s).
We did have a few minor problems. The TV armoire in our studio villa had a sloppy hinge on one door and a few paint-chipped spots, but we were informed that all the studios are getting DVD players, and they are changing the armoires for new ones to accommodate them, so I can understand not fixing it. The two things that did bother us: <1> My partner told the concierge in the lobby about my birthday and requested a card from Donald. The CM at the desk said that Donald had just left the resort and had a lot of parties to attend that night, but he would get the card to us the next day, but no card came then either, so he stopped and asked again, and was told that the next day it would be there. Still nothing, and we left the day after, so I never got my card
. <2> Our last evening, we had 7:40pm ADRs for 'Ohana. We got there about 7:35 and checked in, got our beeper, and walked about 15 feet away to the bar area to wait. We saw a few people get seated while we waitied, but not many. As 8pm approached, we figured that folks must have been holding their tables over dessert to watch the MK fireworks, and sure enough a lot of tables opened up afterward, but still our pager did not go off. After waiting over 45 minutes, I went up to the desk to find out how much longer it would be for our table, to find that our table had been ready already, but they had forgotten to input the number of our pager into the computer so did not know where we were! OK, I can understand that, human error and all, but why wouldn't they at least have walked around the waiting area calling out my name and the party size like EVERY OTHER RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD KNOWS HOW TO DO!?!?!? No, they just set the piece of paper up on the podium and ignore it! Meanwhile, since we did not respond to our no-page, they gave our table away, so we had to wait another 10 minutes for another one! Once we finally got seated, the meal was quite good, but the situation certainly put a damper on our evening, and took so long that we were unable to get back over to the MK for any extra-magic hours after dinner on our last night.
Other than those 2 incidents, things were great; low crowds, mostly nice weather ( a little cool one day), beautiful decorations. Everest is FANTASTIC!! The green side of Mission: Space is surprisingly effective, although I still prefer the orange side. The Seas with Nemo and Friends is very nicely themed and quite good. It was nice but a little sad to see the Wonders of Life pavilion one (last?) time, and see Body Wars and Cranium Command again.
Sorry it took so long to say we were back; guess I'm getting a little slow now that I'm 55

Good to hear it was another almost flawless trip. And here for your birthday, a bit belated...........
