I cannot say strongly enough what a fantastic and, yes, magical time we had!
We took our then 6-year-old DD to DLR for the first and only time ten years ago. Our trip coincided with DLR's 50th anniversary, and we all had a great time, including grandma and grandpa. So, when we told DD that for her 16th birthday she could pick a destination and bring her BFF, she chose to go back to DLR to remember the fun and make new memories with her friend. I knew we'd have fun, but we were blown away by how much we enjoyed ourselves!
The parks were sparklingly beautiful, attractions as enjoyable as can be, Paint the Night took away the pain of losing my beloved Spectromagic - it is phenomenal. The new fireworks show, with castle projections, Main Street projections and other surprises, was exceptional. We need these in WDW!
World of Color - I almost have no words to adequately describe how amazing it is! Even my teenager, who always teases me about my sentimentality, shed a few tears during this amazing show.
I wish we lived closer, because we would love to visit more often. We definitely won't be waiting another ten years to go back!
