Just back. Arrived on Tuesday mid day and left today Sunday. Trip was myself 45, DD 8, D neice 13 tomorrow, and DBF 50 (who had never gone on
vacation with us before.......or I suspect on vacation with kids before.....)

Tuesday pm was slow at the parks, Space Mt. was 10 minutes, basically a walk on, as was splash and matterhorn.
Wed. was light in the am, we spent the afternoon at CA and it was light, except Toy story.
Thurs a little busier, but not much, still walk on for matterhorn, splash and indy was at most 30 min. and we FP it.
Friday opened CA and ran to Toy story. loved that ride (and beat DBF who kept beating me at Buzz) Would have loved to do it again and again but the line was too long. Screaming was 15 minutes and soaring was 15.
Sat DL was crazy, as I expected so we spent a lot of time at CA.
Two in our party had AP (dd and I) and other two had 5 day park hoppers with MM, I had asked at guest services if the AP could get in for MM with our others who had Park hoppers and was told no. We got there early on Thurs. and I went to the gate and tried to get them to let the two kids in for MM (since we had two MM on the park hoppers, but my kid has an AP.) The guy said, no but I won't split up a family and let us all in for MM.
Overall a great trip, way different then our usual trips which are just dd and I. I spent alot of time trying to keep everyone happy, but I quess that's what mom's do.
DBF and I are still speaking, which is a good thing. I quess if he can do DL with kids he may be a keeper.....maybe that's the new test for a DBF......
I will do a longer trip report when I have managed to get some sleep.

Glad that you had a good time! I will keep my fingers crossed for continuing light crowds this week. :wizard:

Glad to hear that DBF passed the first part of the Disney test -- that would definitely be a criteria for me if I was still single. Luckily, my DH is a good Disney guy and a keeper!

I have to laugh because DH and I never went on a vacation together until our honeymoon. That was such a wake up call. We are happily still married, but it was a close call on day three of our honeymoon :rotfl:

Glad DBF passed the disney test too. I had to take my DH there before we were married to make sure he could handle it. He got queezy on the sun wheel on day 2 and that made me ponder...but after a half hour he was good to go again. So I kept him and he's fine lol
