I don't post much on these boards, but I've been reading and learning over the last few months. We just got back from a 2 week trip on Saturday, and thanks to this board, it went much smoother. We have been to WDW 18 times over the last 10 years or so, but we had never taken advantage of AM EMH or rope drope. We did that this time, and it made a world of difference. We were able to ride so many things in the morning, plus take the best advantage of FP. The breaks in the heat of the day in the afternoon worked great, and then we went back to the parks refreshed for a while in the evening.
The forecast called for thunderstorms almost every day, but we were only rained on about 4 times, and those only lasted 15-20 minutes.
We go with my parents and sister, and they thought I was crazy when I was telling them before we left about what we needed to do to make the most of the trip. We had always stayed at the parks late, gotten up in time to eat breakfast by around 10:30, then get to the parks about 11:30-12noon. Now, we all agree, this trip was the way to do it! My Mom kept saying, "I will never get to the park in the middle of the day again!"
So, I just wanted to thank everyone for the great tips! You guys are great!
