Back from CSR and...............

loved it! loved it! loved it!

This was our first stay at CSR and I must say I was so impressed with everything at this resort. The grounds are absolutely beautiful!
We were in Cabanas 8B, room 8525. We were right at bus stop 4, which was nice. The resort was not crowded, even though there were conventions going on. The main pool is gorgeous, and my DD(18) and her BF(18) practically lived at the pool everynight.
Mousekeeping was great and we got a couple of towel animals.
The walk to the Peppermarket was not bad, as we loved admiring the grounds each time we went. The bus service was outstanding, we never waited for a bus longer than 5 minutes. We had some really great bus drivers this time too.
One day we were walking to the pool and we saw something in the lake, went to get a better look and it was an alligator! Not a big one though, just a baby, but still an alligator. Only saw it that one day.
When we ate at the Peppermarket, we just got it to go to avoid the 10% charge. It was nice to eat outside anyway.
WL is my very favorite resort, but I would definetely stay at CSR again. We have now stayed at all the moderates, time to move on to the Deluxes not sure if that will ever really happen, I can't afford the Deluxes most of the time, so the moderates will do for me.....
Had a wonderful trip and I am already planning for next year's trip!

Glad you liked CSR - it's my favorite moderate. I think it's especially beautiful at night!

Hey!!

Glad you had such a great trip! Since you said you've stayed at all the moderates, which did you prefer - POR or CSR - and why?! We've stayed at POR when it was DL and loved it, but have considered CSR due to the newness.

Which would you stay at next?

My pick would have to be CSR. We also stayed at POR when it was DL, and we loved it as well. We stayed in the alligator bayou section. And it was nice, but my pick between would have to be CSR between the 2. The grounds are just beautiful. I can not pick the right words to describe it.
Give it a try, I know you will love it!

We'll be there in just under 4 weeks. Really looking forward to staying at CSR but have a feeling we'll be at Epcot & MGM the majority of the time.

We were at CSR last year and also LOVED it!!

Disney Spaz,
they do charge you an extra 10% IF you eat in. You can get your food to go and avoid the 10%, which is what we did.

Thanks for the review! We're checking in Saturday for a one night stay. Looking forward to swimming in the pool and eating at the Pepper Market (got my Q & C vouchers!). Did you eat anything that you would recommend at the Pepper Market?

CSR is the only mod we have stayed at. I have tried to talk DH into trying CBR or POR and he won't hear of it.

If we can't stay in our DVC or a deluxe, then we go with CSR, for example our "shoestring" trip in January.

UNLESS super duper AP discounts come out....

We mostly just had a quick breakfast at the Peppermarket. We ate there one evening, I thought it was a little too pricey. The rotisserie chicken was very good. My dd had a calzone and she said it was very good. We had PS at other disney restaurants, so we were only able to eat there just that one time for dinner.

Hi Did your room have a Fridge yet ? Just wondering will be there ourselves from Nov 4 to 6th and a Fridge for free would be great !!
