back from cruise and pins...

Hi all, I'm back from my Halloween cruise. It was SO incredible.

I made quite a few trades with CMs. I managed to get about 15 or so lanyard series pins and a few other rack pins that I thought were cute. I traded with another guest and managed to finally get the Captain Mickey CM nametag pin.

I found it amusing that on one lanyard there was a "LE of 200" pin on there. It was a Disneyana fantasy pin. No Disney copyright anywhere on it. I traded for it anyway.

Now I'm working on getting more lanyard series pins from CMs on our next trip.

I did get some of the Halloween Cruise pins. They are cute. They sold out fast. They went on sale at 10:45 p.m. and there was quite the line for them. They sold out the next afternoon. There were a lot of disappointed guests on the cruise when they found out the pins had already been released (2nd night of cruise) and were gone. I gave a couple away to some DISers that we met on board.

I do have a couple left for trade. It's a LE of 1000 (500 on Wonder; 500 on Magic)

All in all this was the best vacation I've ever had. I can't wait until next October when we will go back!

I am glad you had a good time on the cruise.

That is still something I have not done.

My sister ( WITHOUT ME!!) went on the cruise in October and loved it. Her 11 yr. old DS is ready to go back.

I told her of the DIS board and I think she read the cruise board every day before she left.

Take care of the girl and boy...oh...and the big boy too!

Now Susan, you don't really think that I DIDN'T get Hard Rock pins now do you? Unfortunately there was a Hard Rock at every port (well except for Castaway Cay ) We hit all of them. Got some really cool pins too. Grand Cayman was celebrating pirate's week so we got a really cool Pirate's week pin. Key West had Fantasy Fest going on, so we got one of those also. These along with all of the Halloween pins and a few anniversary pins. See what happens when I'm forced to be around Hard Rock's?
As for the cruise, that was the most awesome vacation ever. Steve can't wait to go back next year. He's already talking about it!
