Had a magical time! Our son was amazed and loved everything WDW had to offer. Just wanted to share some of the highlights of the trip:
1. We stayed at the POP and enjoyed the whole experience. The staff and facility provided an excellent holiday experience.
2. Chef Mickeys was the best! We had such a good time. We went early and the characters and food were all amazing. Each character came over several times and spent time with our son.
3. Photo pass is ingenious. Loved being able to take all the pictures we wanted and then to come home and view them on-line.
4. All of the parks, resort, and downtown Disney did such a great decorating.
5. WDW really wasn't so bad during the Christmas season. I read so much about how crowded and crazy it was suppose to be and honestly, we made our way around with great ease.
6. Everest looks awesome. Can't wait for it to open next Spring.
Things learned...
1. Yes, expect to do laundry. Especially with an almost two year old who is all of a sudden is 'sick'.
2. Nice restaurants were no longer an option with our son unless it came with characters. We ate at the Coral Reef restaurant in almost under a half an hour. We cancelled our reservations at Liberty Tavern and Fulton's Crab House just because our son had different dinning plans for us.
3. Pre-ordering snacks and drinks was a huge help during the stay.
4. People do swim in December. I was talking on my cell phone near the pool, with a sweat shirt on with my teeth chattering watching people play in the pool. Brrrrr.....
Can't wait to return next Fall!
