We are back from my Christmas cruise on Celebrity. It was great but seas were rough, we have sailed 11 times and this was the roughest. I think the nasty Norwalk virus has run its course but we were handed notices to wash our hands and I did notice a lot of extra cleaning in public areas. The seas did calm down when we turned and headed back north.
Our cruise had so many children on board we thought we were on a DCL cruise. The BIG difference was that DCL has almost an entire deck for children, not so for Celebrity. Celebrity is a fantastic line for adults and older teens but for young children it is boring. We felt sorry for the little ones.
We enjoyed our New Year's eve cruise so much we booked another aboard the WONDER!!! We will be doing a 3 day land/ 4 day cruise next year. We leave Dec. 28th. This will be a surprise for our then 11 year old daughter. We will give it to her for Christmas. We are looking forword to sailing on the Wonder. We have been on the Magic 5 times before we will cruise on the Wonder next Dec.
My DH and I are not big parks fans but our daughter loves Magic Kingdom so our Christmas gift in '03 is a mini trip to the park and then off on a cruise.
