Back from Chicago - thanks for the help!

Thanks to everyone who offered tips and suggestions for a quick trip to Chicago.

We had a great time, went to the Field Museum, a show at Second City, saw the St. Patrick's Day Parade, shopped and ate way too much.

I can't wait to go back, I have a list of things I want to try next time already.

Glad you liked it here...I, too have a list of "to do's" in Chicago...and I live here! Never enough time or $$$$$. Who'd you see at Second City? I hope it was sunny the day you were at The Field, it makes the lake so much nicer!

I don't know who we saw at Second City - it was a show on the Main Stage called Doors Open on The Right. It was good - not great. It was definately worth going to though. I would like to go again and see more of an improv thing.

I think it was decent weather when we went to the Field - I can't remember. We almost got blown away on Thurs. and Sunday, but we survived

We had some great meals, but can't wait to go back and try other restaurants too. We did have some deep dish pizza and the guys in our group had their Chicago dogs.
