Back from All Star Music.....

Now I know I am spoiled....I LOVE POP much better! Music is OK, but needs to be re-furbished bad! They already started with one of the buildings, but my room needed new Soap Dispensers, and Shower Hooks--they were a little moldy to say the least. OK stay, but glad I am staying at POP in 26 days!

I felt the same way about All star sports. Luckily I brought the soap and shampoo from our stay at Pop Century those soap dispensers grossed me out.

You should be I would pick Pop over any of the values. I think it should be a value plus.

Staff was OK, but at POP they seem to be much happier and eager to please. I was thinking of switching to SPORTS, but will stay with POP now.

I was going in December, but now after reading this it sounds awful. Will I be dissapointed staying at All Star Music. It sounds hurting, was it really bad? Have any sections been refurbished yet? Maybe I'll change my plans. I got a $55 rate for the week of December 25 but now I'm second guessing this whole thing. Sounds like it's not even worth $55 a night. Comments from all that stayed recently would be greatly appreciated as I did't see a FAQ on this resort. TIA

We stayed at ASMusic this time last year and really enjoyed it. We stayed in the Broadway section and I was very impressed. We normally stay in the mods so I wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. (and I am very funny about hotel rooms) We stayed on the third floor so the noise level was low and our room was very neat and clean. Guess we just got lucky or something. I won't hesitate going back.

I just got back from a two week stay at ASMovies, I know that it is not Music. I was in building 2, all of the rooms on the lower level of building two are being renovated. Sitting at the pool one morning, I watched the crews rip out the old furniture, carpeting and everything else but the sink. Over two days everything was replaced with new. Now i did not waste my time looking over the shoulder of all the work crews since I was there to enjoy the Disney experience. But over the coarse of two weeks, every lower room was completely redone. Also since Feb 04 all of building three was completely remodelled. IMO Disney is working on upgrading as fast as they can. but I degress, I agree that Music needs renovating, that is why we stay at Movies, or POP.

Painting the outside of the Building too. I am glad I switched rooms, at first I had building 3 and than switched to 9! I also saw the Carpet being ripped out and furniture too.
