My 14 year old son and I spent a week at the All Star Music Resort and had a great time. Other than the meals we had at the hotel food court, which were very good, here's where we ate: One note I would like to make about our PS. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for any of them, which I thought was great!
50's Prime Time Cafe - This was our second time to eat here and it was just as good as the first time. Our waitress was Aunt Janice and she was great - really into character. She called my son Daniel, scooter all evening. She was a lot of fun. I had the meatloaf which was excellent and my son had the fried chilcken, which he said was very good. Both entrees were very big servings. I was too full for desert, but my son had the strawberry cheesecake and ate it all up. He also got one of the specialty drinks with the light up ice cubes. This was great meal that we really enjoyed.
Sci Fi Drive Inn - This was our first time to eat here and I'm not so sure we will come back. It was o.k. just not spectacular. We went here for lunch and I thought it was very overpriced for cheeseburgers and fries. The milkshakes were good but I thought it was very interesting that the nilkshakes weren't even listed on the menus. It was a fun atmosphere to try once.
Teppanyaki - We went here for dinner and absolutely loved this place. This was one of our favorite meals of our trip. Both the food and service were excellent and we would definitely eat here again. I had the shrimp and scallops and they were absolutely delicious. My son had the New York Sirloin and Chicken which he really enjoyed. Our chef was very good and very entertaining. One highlight of this meal, especially for my son, was that Keshawn Johnson of the Tampa Bay Bucaneers and his family came in to have dinner here the same time as us. In fact they were sitting right by us in the waiting area before they were taken to their table. We were not seated at the same table as them though. My son was absolutely thrilled to see him!
Boma - I had read so many wonderful reviews about this restaurant so we were anxious to try it. It was a very pretty and interesting restaurant and we did enjoy this meal. My son did not venture out and try some of the more exotic dishes. He stayed with foods that he was familiar with and really liked the prime rib. I thought it was very good as well. We had a great server named Alicia and she even offered to take our picture for us. I thought they had a great dessert bar.
Fulton's - We really enjoyed this restaurant. It has a very nice atmosphere being in the boat on the water. This was another of our favorite meals. I had the Alaska Snow Crab Legs which were excellent and my son had the 14 ounce New York Strip Steak. He said that it was excellent. It was a very big steak and he did his best to finish it. We had a great server who was very attentive. I'm afraid we were too full to try dessert but we really enjoyed this meal.
The Land at Epcot - Ice Cream Social - This was a fun activity to do on a rainy afternoon. I had read mixed reviews on the ice cream social before we went so I was curious about what we would experience. We really enjoyed it. I thought the character interaction was great. Each character- Mickey, Chip, Dale, Goofy, made their way to our table and they were well spaced out so they weren't there all at once. The ice cream sundaes were huge and very good. There were pre-plated so you didn't get any choice on the sundae, but that was fine with us. The sundae was in a big waffle cone and the base of the cone was a chocolate chip cookie so the whole thing was edible. I thought that was very clever. This was fun break in the afternoon.
Le Cellier - I had read so many great reviews on this restaurant and we were not disappointed. This was a wonderful restaurant and we really enjoyed our meal here. I had to try the Cheddar Cheese Soup and it was delicious. We really liked the different kinds of bread sticks they offered. I had the Fillet Migon. It was so tender and very delicious. My son again had the Ney York Strip Steak and he thought it was very good. We really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant and will defintely go back.
Crystal Palace Character Breakfast - I thought the food selection at this breakfast buffet was very good and we especially enjoyed having omelettes made to order. They were delicious. They ahd a great selection of fresh fruits, breakfast meats, rolls, etc. Again, the character interaction here was very good and very spaced out as well. This was a fun way to start out the day at Magic Kingdom.
Well, those are my meal reviews, if anyone has any questions or comments, just let me know.
