We got back from the BWV last week, but I haven't had a chance to write anything of any length before this. We went four days after graduation, it was awesome! There were 7 of us in a 2BR standard view on the fifth floor, four doors from the elevator (DH & I, 2 nephews and a niece, and my girlfriend and her niece. Our preferred view waitlist never materialized, even though we were on it since the 7 month 2 day mark. The view was looking out to the entrance. Definitely not bad. My other girlfriend and her son were in a pref studio on the second floor, they loved it. And my sister and my other niece were in a pref 1BR for one night before they moved to the All Star Movies to be on the package.

Our rooms were immaculate, but we didn't get a Mickey soap by the jacuzzi upon arrival. I didn't ask for one. We did get one there on trash and towel day. We didn't use the balcony at all on this trip because we went from 7a.m. until 10p.m. every day. Big mistake! I was dead when I came back and I had to immediately go back to school the next morning after getting in after 10. I told DH that we are not doing that in Oct. That to me is the best part about DVC, you know you'll be back, so why kill yourself?

We totally love the Boardwalk. Since we've been back, as I recount my adventures, I keep mistakenly saying, "At the shore this," and "At the shore that," and considering that we have vacationed 'at the shore' every year for the past thirty-four years, that is amazing.

We really had no major complaints. It was just wonderful to be there. All our PS's went well. The rehab at the Boardwalk did not interfere with our stay in any way. The boat to MGM was as slow as ever. Bus transportation was adequate. I did not notice the Swan and Doplhin people on EVERY bus this time. There were no lockers at the pool on checkout day. I heard Caribbean Beach has them, so I would have thought that a deluxe hotel would have them also.

I thought the crowds were pretty large (it was Memorial Day weekend), but actually except for MK, we didn't have too long a wait anywhere. That was actually kind of sad to me, because I really do not want to see any more cutbacks or any additional layoffs. When we went to the B & B show, they did not have 4 for a Dollar. They cancelled the 10:30 Fantasmic show when I know it was scheduled for Sat night before I left. No one checked our IDs at the pool. They did in Nov. Just little things.

We had a fantastic trip.

Glad you enjoyed it! Last year on the night we were to see Spectromagic we were pretty tired, but I just thought "oh well, we'll skip it since we'll be back next summer!" You are right, that is part of the beauty of DVC.
