We arrived back late last night from a fantastic Halloween trip to DLP. Took loads of pics so I'll do a proper TR but here are some highs and (barely any) lows.
Halloween decorations were as described in posts on here, I thought they were quite sweet (very Disney), and there were a few more decos and effects for the party on friday. Not an enormous amount of halloween merchandise (the same few things in all shops), and quite a lot of Christmas stuff out already.

Not a trip spoiler, but crowds on Saturday were crazy! Over an hour queue for most rides and long queues for food etc. As we'd had plenty of time to do the rides we wanted on Thurs and Fri we just used Fast Passes and took time wandering around and enjoying the sun, but I wouldn't want to spend my whole trip in those kind of crowds. Also only noticed the bad behaviour people complain about (smoking in lines, pushing etc) when the queues got really long. Was a gorgeous day so can't blame everyone for thinking it would be a good day to visit though!
A brilliant trip overall, really glad we went again!

- Weather - gorgeous sunny days Thurs - Sat, fairly cold but lovely in the sun
- Crowds - hardly any on Thursday and Friday - walked on the most rides, longest queue was for Crush at 40 mins on Friday (but I think that's short for Crush!)
- MNSSHP - this was great, really fun being in the parks in the dark with hardly any one around. Seemed like there were lots of characters around too.
- General upkeep - seemed like lots of rides had been fixed or freshened up since our June visit. The swinging pirate was swinging again on POTC, the light on the lift ceiling in phantom manor was working, quite a few of the animatronics were moving again on POTC, PM and BTM that we hadn't seen in action before.
- Firsts for us - Crush-loved this, so much fun ; lunch at Blue Lagoon; dinner at Annette's
