We ate at the following places. If you want any info, let me know. My daughter is 12 and has celiac disease. She doesn't eat "kid" food so I can't answer to that. But I am sure any kids would find great food too!

Olivia's (lunch)
Biergarten (lunch)
Mama Melrose (lunch)
Boma (breakfast)
1900 Park Fair (breakfast)
Yak & Yeti (lunch)
BOG (dinner)
Raglan Road (lunch)
Tony's Town Square (lunch)
Goods Food to Go at OKW (QS)

Excellent experiences all around.

Im going to BOG in December. I cant have gluten as well as other things, but being gluten free is the most important, what did your daughter eat and how did she like it. If you have any other advice about ordering food at the world that would also be appreciated. :)

In the animal kingdom there is a cart devoted to allergies. We got gluten free cupcakes and they also provided allergy info for all the quick serves.

I would love to find out what she ate at Biergarten for lunch and 1900 park fare for Breakfast. We are trying Biergarten for dinner and 1900PF for breakfast for the first time for our 2015 trip.

How was Yak and Yeti? We have reservations next month and my wife has celiac.

My daughter had the salmon. I think they poached it. It was fine, but not her favorite way of preparation. She also had mashed potatoes and baby carrots. They had a couple of options for her for dessert. She went with the raspberry sorbet. The chef was able to make quite a number of items for her GF, even french onion soup!

Just make sure you not your dietary restrictions on your ressie and the chefs will take good care of you. Enjoy!

We always stop there to get DD a donut. They are Babycakes.

Biergarten is very GF friendly. All of the sausages and saurkraut are fine as are the potato salads. They have a nice cold selection of German salads and coldcuts. The chicken and fish are safe. Since we didn't go to dinner, I am not sure about the saurbraten. She was also able to have the carved pork roast and a German meatloaf that doesn't have bread crumbs in it. The have a nice red cabbage dish that I love that is safe. For dessert, she had the fruit compote which is YUMMY!

1900 was probably our least favorite of the trip. I didn't like the way the buffet was set up. Too much chance for CC and they were so busy, I didn't think I would be able to get the chef to bring anything from the back (hash browns for instance). He did bring out GF mickey waffles and donuts and muffins.

Y&Y was great. The one thing my DD really wanted, the sweet and sour chicken with rice, she was able to have. Since it isn't Disney owned, I wasn't expecting a chef to come out, but he did and let her know what he could do for her. They have GF soy sauce that they can use in some of their dishes. I brought packets from home in just in case, but didn't need them. They didn't bring any to the table, but she didn't want any additional added. So, I didn't ask if they had any for the table. They had noodle dishes that they could do with rice instead. There were a number of options. The portions were deceivingly large! This is one place she wants to return too for our next trip, along with Germany and Raglan Road and Boma....

We use so many abbreviations on these boards. When I saw the title, I thought "Why are they posting about eating at the Grand Floridian here, and why did they eat there for 8 days?". Just goes to show (A) how dense I am (since I don't have gluten issues and don't get out a lot, it wasn't where my brain went), and (B) how used to certain abbreviations a person gets (GF meant Grand Floridian around here a lot longer than it has meant Gluten Free, and I'm old!), and (C) I'm old, and (D) I'm old. :rotfl:

And I see GF for Grand Floridian and wonder why people are questioning gluten free! LoL!

We're thinking of adding on a short stay at OKW before our cruise this summer. What were your experiences at Olivia's and Good's food to go? Do you know if they have a dedicated fryer for french fries at Good's?

Olivia's is great! We have eaten there more than once. Yes, they have a dedicated frier.
