I beat the snowstorm by going down early Mon morning. My room wasn't ready when I arrived at 12:30 but I was assured I had received my "requested view" (which surprised me because I hadn't requested anything besides non-smoking). After spending the afternoon at MGM, we returned to our room (4029) was ready. It was a boardwalk view. The room was immaculate. My only complaint was the smoke odor (the previous occupants obviously smoked on the balcony with the door open). It quickly aired out when we put the fan on and left the balcony door open for a short time. The CM who made this stay "magical" was the housekeeper, Denise from Haiti. On trash/towel day, she made a cute washcloth bunny. I saw her in the hall and thanked her (it was my first "towel animal"). She explained that she liked to make even t/t days special. The next day she presented me with an adorable washcloth duck. I still love OKW, but it was nice being able to walk to MGM and Epcot.

yes walking or boating to Epcot/MGM is nice. I did a small add-on there, and VWL too, because of there easy of access to the parks.

glad you had such a good trip. i really think the housekeepers do a great job at bwv. every one i've spoken to is pleasant and helpful.
