WOW, that was a lot of food! It was very nice to be able to try so many different things and not have to worry about the cost. My dh LOVED the dining plan. We used every last credit and it all worked out great! I will briefly give our opinions of the restaurants we chose.

We stayed at the All-Star movies resort and ate breakfast at the food court everyday. The first day we got 2 adult meals and shared it, after that we got one meal and all of us shared. It was a lot of food for breakfast, especially with the pastry. Just for reference, in our party there are 2 adults, a 3 year old and 1 year old.

Chef Mickey Dinner, night of arrival. This was awesome, we thought the food was great and the character interaction was even better. All the characters came around right away and we saw them over and over again throughout the meal. The group picture is pricey, but we bought it because it was a good pic of us all. The mashed potatoes are the best, I pigged out on those. :cool1:

Flame Tree Lunch, Animal Kingdom. This was a great counter service, it totally hit the spot. Dh had the ribs, I had the beef sandwich and the kids shared a hot dog. The best part was with the meal plan we got the frozen lemonade as the dessert and we needed it in the heat.

Le Cellier Dinner, Epcot. Dh started out with the shrimp cocktail, I had the cheese soup, both were great. Then for our main course, we both had the surf and turf. I shared with the kids, to save table service credits. The steak was good, but not as good as I had hoped. The lobster was wonderful though. For dessert, dh had the sampler and I had the creme brulee, I didn't care for mine. This was to fancy of a restaurant for our tired kids after the parks all day. We did like it, but probably wouldn't go again.

ESPN Lunch. Dh was really looking forward to this meal. It was much better then I expected. We started out with the macho nachos and mild chicken strips. The nachos were awesome! For our meal, dh had the reuben sandwich and I had a mushroom burger. The kids shared with us. My burger was awesome and dh seemed happy with his also. For dessert, I just got a sundae and let the kids share it. I don't remember what dh got, but he liked it. Our only problem with this place is we were charged for 4 table service credits, even though the kids shared with us. Our hotel fixed it right away and it wasn't a big deal, but I am glad I noticed it right away.

Kona Cafe Dinner.....Ok this meal was DELICIOUS!! We enjoyed every last drop. We started out with the crab cakes and pot stickers and they were both awesome. Dh had the fillet and I had the shrimp and scallops, both were perfect! For dessert, I had the lava cake...YUM!!! Dh had the Apple Betty. It did help that the kids slept through this meal, it was just wonderful!!

CRT Lunch......Very nice, better then I expected. The dessert plates were nice, but not a whole lot to them. I picked the sandwich and dh picked the pork. Both were good. Our 3 yr old had the pretzel dog and it was nice that they serve a complimentary pasta bowl for under 3's. I was relunctant about the dessert, but I ended up loving it. The kids loved the crown on top their ice cream. All the princess' were lovely.

Chrystal Palace Dinner.....We must have hit this one on a very busy night. we just weren't impressed. It took forever for the characters to come around and it seemed like right before they got to us they were pulled away for something. We had only seem Piglet by the time we were done eating. The food was ok, it is a good selection, but nothing that great IMO. We did end up seeing all the characters, but ds had gotten to tired by that point and dh had taken him outside. DD enjoyed seeing them though.

Mama Melrose Lunch......This was not planned, but we had 2 table services left so we decided to try this one. Dh got a salad to start and I got the bruschetta, which I didn't care for. Then for our main course dh got the seafood pasta and I got a cheese flat bread to share with the kids. Both were very good. I would eat here again, everything was fresh and flavorful. Oh, for dessert, I had the chocolate truffle and dh had the coffee Tartufo. The truffle was just ok, not like Kona's.

Columbia Harbour House Dinner.....We grabbed a quick dinner since we were doing lots of rides. This one was nice. The food was pretty good, both dh and I had the chicken and fish plate and dd had the mac and cheese plate. We were hot and hungry so this hit the spot.

We totally enjoyed everything and thanks so much to everyone on Disboards for giving me so much information to plan these great meals. Dh was beyond impressed and everything was just so nice. I am very glad we did the dining plan, especially since it was enough to share with the kids. We ate like kings. :earsboy:
