I always find doing my trip reports help a lot. Let me relive it a little!!

You are SO lucky to go back so soon!!

Welcome back sorry to hear you have the blues. Why not do a trip report or plan your next trip.

I had the blues last night so watched old videos from the video camera of our trip or I also watch things on youtube.

As the others have said I like to watch videos on You Tube and write a trip report as ir helps to relive the holiday :goodvibes

Not sure my trip report would be very exciting?
We only go to the 'world' once or twice per trip these days... most of our holidays are spent golfing?

This last trip we arrived on Sat 9th.. on the Sunday we drove up to Sawgrass to watch the PGA players championship... fantastic day in 100 degree sunshine! We sat on the famous 17th green and watched Tiger Woods, Ian Poulton and Stenson... a once in a lifetime day!
On the Monday we drove to Cocoa Beach and watched the shuttle go up!
Then we had a full day at Epcot, the highlight was going on Soarin again and the new spaceship earth ride that has been revamped. We ate at Tutto Italia Ristorante in Italy... nearly $100 for 2 of us... Mark had lasagne and I only had a starter... a seafood salad with squid prawns and octopus then we had a sweet between us!
We felt the fireworks were a little disappointing to previous years.
Most of the rest of our stay was golfing! We tried a new course which we really enjoyed...... the Crooked Cat at Orange County National! A great test of golf!
Oh yes, we did a bit of work on our house.. bought a few more plants, cut back our 70 yard lawn so we can see the lake, bought a webcam for the pc and a few bits of gym equipment!
Thats about it really!! A FAB time as usual!!

Just landed back this weekend so can relate to the holiday blues!!

We're back in October so lots to look forward to however the biggest plans are for next April when we also hope to arrange our trip around going to Sawgrass to watch the USPGA - i take it from your comments that it is well worth it (big Ian Poulter fan here)?

I've only just started playing golf but hubby has been playing for years, he did the Crooked Cat at Orange National with a freind about 3 years ago - really liked the course and the whole feel of the club.

Sarah :)

If you didn't feel the blues you have not had a good holiday.:goodvibes At least you are back in November and good weather should (hopefully) be round the corner for you to enjoy. I love your gator and the thought of just sitting there relaxing on a night. My hubbie and lads all play golf (I walk round with them) so they would love all the courses. How do you manage in the heat? I played mini golf once at noon and I really suffered, couldn't wait to get out of the sun, so I said never again during the day.

Hi Sarah
Yes it was well worth the trip up to Sawgrass! Its such a shame they were so strict with photos etc.. as we would have had some great pics!
We were lucky enough to see Greg Norman win at Firestone a number of years ago, when we stayed with my aunt and uncle in Ohio. That was also a great event!
Mum came over in January and spoke to Nick Faldo at the father and son event at Champions Gate!
Last April, we went to watch the ladies at Reunion (just over the road from us) in the Ginn open. That was great, as you can get a bit closer!
Our favourite club is Diamondback... I think if we were older and had more time, we'd join that club. We like a good test of golf!
We'll have to have a game if we're over at the same time??

Hi Tracy

Sounds like you've had some fantastic golf experiences just in the past 12 months! We were over last April when the ladies were playing at Ginn and wanted to go but i was 34 weeks pregnant at the time and didn't fancy a whole day sat out in the sun, shame though it seemed a really good event but i am i right in thinking thery're not hosting it again?

When we're back in October we will be with Steve's family so we're hoping to get in a round or two while granny looks after our little man! Not sure as a beginner i will be able to cope with Orange National but do you think Diamondback would suit? Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Definately up for a round, we're out in Florida about 3 times a year so we're sure to be there together at some point.

Sarah x
