Hi, everyone! It's been a while since I logged in. Life has gotten in the way of everything, of course. We had a great Disney trip last spring, one which I am so thankful for, because months later my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor which almost took his life.

We are currently planning a Disney trip in late June, with a stop at the Wizarding World at Universal. It was a promise I made to him while he was in intensive care, and now that we have clearance to do the rides I am keeping my promise! :goodvibes

I'd appreciate ANY tips for budgeting, because I have to keep this as low as possible. Although I swore I'd never stay off property again, I think we are going to, just to keep the budget down. We're probably going to drive, as well.

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to participating again. :)

Here are few ways to save money I can think of at the top my of head:
  1. Military Discounts available for any memeber of the party up and to 5 guest that are active or retired military.
  2. AAA membership
  3. Florida Resident discounts
  4. Mousesavers.com
  5. allears.net
  6. roomsaver.com (off-site room coupons)
  7. travelcoupons.com (another off-site room coupons site)
  8. When entering Florida stop the Welcome Center and you may find some deals there.

We found a room in 2009 for $19.95 a night using a coupon we found in one of the coupon books.
