Back Again! Free $10 Target Giftcard with $50 purchase

Great! Thanks. Heading to Kroger to buy a Target gift card (for fuel points and 5% for our swim team) and then to Target to get $75 in Disney gift cards + $5 in stocking stuffers for a net of $62!

Now, that's the way to do it! I'm doing the same thing this morning!

Hmm...isn't the budget board supposed to help you save??

I used five coupons last week, and got 2 8 off 80, so I used it on meds and some clearance Legos, and gift cards. WHen I was done I had 4 gift cards and I got one more 8 off of 80.

So since I read the budget board, I saw that the Wii U was back and online said my Target it had it. So DH and I went, and we got the last black one. I used 8 off of 80, and 40 in gift cards on it, and got another 10.00 gift card back, which I then used for games (I split the order) and used it on more games. LOL...so I am done, and I still have one more 10.00 gift card!!

Makes a great last night of Chanukah gift!

I passed out a lot of the coupons today at Target, after using about 10 of them. LOL. Some cashier/lead was curious about it and I saw her chatting with the security guard about it. So, it made me wonder if that specific lead didn't know about the coupon?

I too did the 6 transactions of 5 @ $50 each and turned and used the 5 $10 target gift cards for a 6th $50 gift card.

That part at Target went smooth... thanks for all the tips.

However, I applied the first $50 onto my account balance for my upcoming trip and the first one went fine. Then as I went to apply the 2nd I got the following:

"You may use multiple payment methods, but may only use each payment method once"

So will the Disney website not allow me to pay down my balance with my remaining 5 $50 gift cards?

Suggestions on what to do?

I called MS and you can use multiple gift cards to pay annual dues. I think you have to call and have a person take the gift cards.

Hey all!

Tip for any of those doing this today:

If you want an Itunes giftcard AND a disney giftcard then do this:

- pay for the itunes giftcard at the electronic's section, then the disney giftcard at the main registers.

That way you don't have to go "in an out of the store"

I need to buy a TV for a gift - $200 thus $40 in Target gift cards. But, what if I need to retun the TV (don't ask) then I assume I will need to return the cards. Do I just make sure and not spend them until I'm sure about the gift. I know this has gotten complicated with Kohls cash.

Nana - I don't think you will allowed to use 4 "$10 giftcard for $50 spent" coupons for your one purchase of a $200.00 TV - but I guess you never know.

With that being said - I made a purchase that totaled $62 and change last week and used a coupon for the "free $10 gift card". I then had to return the item that cost $49.99 the following week. I had the gift card with me and offered to surrender it to the customer service rep since once I made the return, my original total would not be over $50 any longer. She told me that the gift card was mine to keep, and gave me back the full amount of my purchase = $49.99 plus tax = $53.11 or so. To be honest, I was kind of surprised. I figured they would either want the gift card back or deduct some amount from my return.

Just scored $220 in free gift cards for our upcoming WDW trip! Thanks everyone for the tips. Had no problems buying two at a time, just kept going through various registers doing the same thing, no questions asked!

I too missed out on this last week. I was able to print 8 (four different users on our computer). Went on Thurs and was able to use 4 no problem. Then again last night. Bought a total of 8 $50 Disney cards. Will turn around and purchase our tickets for our upcoming trip. It's just a 1 day park hopper. But every little bit off helps. I still have 2 $10 cards because I forgot to use the on from the last purchase on Thurs on the first purchase on Fri. So I'll just get another $50 card w/$20 off .

I was late to the party - just heard about this last night. But I ended up scoring $3,800 in cards, saving around $850 between the target cards, Disney visa rewards, and a.little redcard. It was a lot of work though - plenty of people would only do 1 card per purchase. I went to target 5 times over the past 24 hours, but I think it was worth it.

I was hoping to get around $10,000 in cards, but it wasn't meant to be. Hopefully I'll hit the first weekend next year and fulfill my goal.

Thanks everyone for the heads up. I got 8 $50 gift cards. I was able to do 4 at a time without the blink of an eye. My Target was very accommodating. Then I used my last Target gift card for snacks and pop for game night!

Thank you for sharing and we were able to buy $3000 worth of GC's over the two weekends and lots of trips to Target. Everyone was very accomodating and most accepted 4 coupons at a time. I even involved customer service at one point because I had "lost" some gift cards, but found them. However, they didn't say anything about using too many coupons at a time or anything and they knew we had been busy shoppers. Also, we are more loyal Target customers than ever before... we did a lot of our Christmas shopping, TV, bike, etc here though we had planned other places.

Thanks for all of the info! My last concern was that my many gift cards would not work when speaking with Member Accounting in paying my dues. All the cards worked ( I know they said activated on the receipt but still I was paranoid).
