Hi everyone!

My friend is getting married soon an we want to take her to Disney World for a bachelorette trip :cutie::cutie::cutie::bride::cutie::cutie::cutie:
Right now there's 6 of us already confirmed but the number can grow up to 10 if the price is right. We are looking for a hotel, (or some other option!), with a free transportation service to the parks, free or cheap breakfast and as many amenities possible so we can save our pennies.
I know there's some hotels that offer two or three bedroom suites, but i'm not sure where to look to compare them all this way.
I've read about some of you that rent timeshares or houses. Could this be an option?
Our dates are Feb 21 to Feb 25 2013

Any thoughts or tips? Anyone with a past experience like mine?

Thanks!

Welcome pixiedust:

First of all, I was also part of a bachelorette party at Disney, so feel free with ask me any questions! We had an absolutely blast!

A few things you need to decide:
Where to stay - off site or on-site
When? - Do you have dates yet? This greatly impacts price
Parks - will you use park hoppers? Go to the water parks? Spend a day doing the "extras?"

The most important to decide will be the date, and which hotel. I am a huge, huge advocate for staying on-site. To me this is the best way to do Disney. You're surrounded by the Disney magic and there are perks you cant get staying off-site. These include - free transportation to and from the airport, extra magic hours (EMH), resort theming, free transportation to and from everywhere within Walt Disney World, Disney specials (room discounts or free dining).

Decide on a budget, and decide what you can and cannot do. Are 4 girls willing to share a room? If so, this cuts your cost down remarkably since you can have 4 in a room. If you're on a budget, you can look into rooms at any of the Values, or even a suite at one of the values. If you're looking for a more relaxing atmosphere and quieter, look at Moderates, and if you're going all out take a look at the Deluxe. Chances are you're not willing to spend $2,000 on a room, which means the 2-3 bedroom places you've heard of on Disney property are probably out - this is when looking at a suite at one of the value hotels might be good. Yet even 10 girls cannot fit in one suite so you are better off, in my opinion, to book a few rooms. You can rent points from Disney Vacation Club for the multi-bedroom suites, but this will still be expensive, just less expensive than the rack rate.

Depending on dates, you will have some type of special going on (usually). This could be a room discount or free dining plan. Unless you have the free dining plan, nowhere on property offers free breakfast (and even with the free dining plan you might not use one of your "free meals" as breakfast). However, each hotel has a "quick service" (QS) location that offers something to grab and go - fruit, yogurt, pastries. This might be more what you're looking for.

Please don't hesitate to private message me or keep talking on this thread. As I said, the bachelorette we had for my friend was so much fun and I wouldn't hesitate to do another at Disney! :goodvibes

In spring 2007 I threw a bachelorette party for 2 (!) girlfriends in an overlapping clique at WDW with 8 girls (10 for part of the trip). We stayed in 3/4 rooms at the Swan (depending on the nights the other girls joined us) and it was a freaking BLAST. We did park hoppers, Blue Zoo, San Angel Inn, Marrakesh, Jelly Rolls, and Kimono's. Everything else was spur of the moment. We spent LOTS of time at Epcot and drank and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The Swan even decorated the 2 conjoined rooms we had and left us goodies a second day, it was great. I hope you have as good a time as we did, those are FANTASTIC memories:)
