Hey guys (or should I say girls), what have you done, or what are you going to do for your bachelorette parties? I was thinking of a spa day and then the pool and maybe a park, but I feel like the only spa kind of service we could get are manicures, which is fine, but...not really spa-like? I'm not a clubbing girl at all (I've actually never been to a club), so I was wondering about some other suggestions or help w/the spa day idea. :)

What we're going is being called "Girls Night Out" where myself, family and friends are heading to Downtown Disney. We're going to have dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, then we're going to shop until we drop and walk around DTD! I don't drink, so it's going to be alcohol free. Pretty tame, but so am I! :rotfl:

hopefully.... i will meet up with a few dis girls on the boards on here (as they are vacationing at the same time as my wedding) and a suggestion was made that we were going to meet up and maybe have a dessert party?

if not, then we would just go to one of the resturants or downtown disney ... either way... it'll be a bunch of crazy dis girls running around disney somewhere in November next year!!

We are having both of ours (both guys and girls...either together or separate...not sure yet) at Epcot. We are planning to do the "drinking around the world". If you don't like to drink, you could do desserts around the world, and each split a few from each Pavilion?

I think it is a neat idea, and not something you can do anywhere else!

oooh desserts from around the world.. i likey that idea!

That's not a bad idea! I need to check out restaurants. :scratchin I went to the T-Rex place this past X-mas (if you haven't checked it out, you should, it's AWESOME. It's done by the same people that did Rainforest, and there's a meteor shower instead of the rainstorm. :)) O, and you're originally from Worcester? I'm in Framingham!

Aw, I wish I could meet up w/a bunch of the girls on here. That sounds like fun! :)

Oo, I like that. Too bad they don't have the beaver tails anymore in Canada. I'd def. toss that grand marnier(sp?) drink they have in France in there tho'. :)

My cousin and I are getting married within a month of each other and decided to do a combined bachelorette party. We are getting a limo and hitting up the wine trail :)

Yay Framingham!!! One of my MOH's is from Framingham, I'm from Newton!

haha Yes!!! I am so excited for this!

My MOH is from Framingham too (although I guess that's kind of obvious, haha). She lives in L.A. now tho'. :( Did that MOH go to FHS? LOL. Yea, Massachusetts!

haha yes my MOH was a Flyer:lmao: I was a cheerleader who competed against the Flyers lol! What year were you?

My girlfriends and I drank around the world and it was wonderful. Some were drinkers and some weren't, that's the great thing with epcot.. there's so much variety of things to do!!!

Here's some pics to inspire your plans - us getting to epcot.

We stayed at a 2 bedroom at OKW and it was great because there was no driving involved. Then the next day we just laid around the pool and made margaritas and daiquiris... it was awesome.

We had my bachelorette party 2 days (the Thursday) before the wedding. My MOH's and I spent the morning/early afternoon at the spa at Saratoga (mani's, pedi's and massages for everyone), had a few hours to hang out around the resort, a "Welcome Cocktail Hour" that my mom threw, then we headed out for the night. We had a limo for the evening that took us to Ice Bar (on I-drive). It was really cool- literally- the bar is all made of ice and is 27 degrees at all times! Then we hit a latin/salsa club that our driver recommended before turning in. It made for a long day, but was definitely tons of fun! :cool1:
The guys had some fun too- they went to Jellyrolls that night for a "mini" bachelor party.

mani's and massages for everyone

See, that's what I was thinking, but I wanna do the massages like all in one room, like at a spa party (which I dunno how I'd unless we did it at the condo. my parents stay at in Venice, but since I want to incorporate Disney, that wouldn't really work w/the drive), but the only time I can think of where they do more than 1 in the same room is for a couples' massage. :confused3

Yeah- we had our massages in private individual treatment rooms. The only other thing that you could do is call and have them come to your room (if you're staying at a resort that offers it)- then maybe you could do them together. It'll probably cost a little more than having it at the spa though.

Our mani's/pedi's were together in one room so that's why having seperate massages wasn't a big deal. Then we all went to lunch together at the Turf Club- so we had plenty of girl time that AM- even though we were apart for that massage hour. IDK - hope that helps a little.

My sister is having an "old fashioned girly sleepover" for her bachlorette party. She wants to eat pizza and make your own ice cream sundaes. She also wants to watch movies like "Dirty Dancing" and "Sixteen Candles"

Just thought I would jump in. I had my BP at Disney in December, spent the evening at Jellyrolls...had a blast. Spent the weekend with one of my BFF's, and meeting up with some other friends. It was great :)

Yea, I know I'm gonna be at the Yacht Club. I have no idea where my girls are gonna be. I'm thinkin' one of the All-Stars. I feel like Disney doesn't do that tho'. I'll have to look into it. Plus, how could they squeeze that in the room unless they massaged people on the hotel beds, lol. :confused3 :rotfl:

Oo, I like that! I miss sleepovers! Maybe I'll top the night off w/that. I wonder what movies tho'.... I used to watch all the Halloweens and stuff and whoever was there would fall asleep, hahaha.

Me and my BM's were just talking about this and I think that we are going to drink and eat around the world and then watch Illuminations! I am really excited because it is going to be very low-key! Which is just what i will need right before the big day!
