To me, Matt was so perfect!...but I think that was the problem!
Her relationship with him was like something short of a dream...like the perfect jock that she could never get in high school!
I think she was right to follow her heart! She has real guts in my opinion! Why can't she have everything with Ian?

Sooo funny! I was watching Jimmy Kimmel on ABC late night last night and he was showing clips from the ending that were just hysterical! First they showed the great speech that Matthew gave then showed clips of the mumbling, bumbling half sentences that Ian said and were basically laughing at her for choosing him.

Sounds harsh, but true when you compared their final encounters with her side to side.

I was thinking of Charlie from the Trista bacherlorette show, when he basically stormed off after he found out that he wasn't the final guy. Matthew seemed very mature and so gracious in his "defeat" in comparison.

I also didn't like the way KelliJo handled the Bob thing. Matthew was a gentleman from the moment he stepped out of the limo in the first show. What a guy.

I guess it is because most of us "fell in love with" Matthew so we didn't just see him as "security". I really thought she cared for and maybe loved him. I mean, she asked for a ring and then she was so torn over who to choose...

Personally, I think that if that is who she is and what she is like, I'm happy she didn't choose Matthew. He'll find someone better. And she'll be taking care of the guy who wants no responsibilies.

Where are all the responses to tonight's show? They were so overcome with adrenaline that neither one of them even knew that he didn't say, "marry me."

Man, that Matthew is a heck of a guy. He could not have done better tonight. He's really smart to play it that way rather than get upset. He'll be swiped up in no time, with someone who isn't in love with someone else.
