Well, Chris Harrison said "Kasey" right before it cut out, so Jake must be gone. Jake said if he left he was going to take down others with him, so maybe the ending will be the lead in next week. Horrible editing, I agree. And the guy with the mask....so stupid!

I dunno, I'm kind of thinking they want us to believe Jake is gone. With that editing, it could have been Chris saying to Casey that his limo awaits or something. I guess we'll see!

this show is so bad. the editing is bad,i know i saw a few microphones in the shot and camera men, and whats with those backpack microphones sticking out. i personally hate the mask guy at the end of the shows,its so stupid. i too was rooting for jake,casey is a tool and vienna is a spoiled b****. sorry to see jake go, i hope he gets some last words next week since we got ripped off at the ending this week.

I went to ABC.COM to see what the deal was with the ending. This is a portion of Chris' blog if you really want to know what happened at the end.

At the rose ceremony I announced the tables would be turned, and this week the ladies were safe. This time Vienna didn’t get upset and threaten to stage a walkout — apparently this twist was okay with her. Jake came into this game at a huge disadvantage and a massive target on his back. He made one last ditch effort to save himself and everybody else from the power couples, but for some reason the stragglers couldn’t pull it together, and much to the delight of Kasey and Vienna, Jake went down. He really only has himself to blame. That very first week if he hadn’t given Vienna the rose, things would have been much different. Now with Jake gone, the power couples are only that much stronger. I think Jake hit the nail on the head when he said if you don’t vote against the power couples, you’re “not playin’ the game,” you’re just “playin’ stupid.” With Jake gone and the numbers dwindling, it will be interesting to see how the game changes as people begin to feel more desperate.

Oh well... another week of the "power couple" ... WHO WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO GIVE THEM POWER???

I have to agree with you...the masked guy is funny IMHO!

If Jake is in fact gone it will be interesting to see what happens with Vienna and Kasey since she freaked when he had that ring box...I know if I had reacted like that to jewelry from DH at that stage in our relationship he probably wouldn't be a DH right now...at least not to me.

The fact that we have the sad face "smiley" after the words "Jake is gone" proves what a great edit he's getting. Seriously though, the entire show revolved around Jake. Can't see it being too interesting if he goes.

I'm another one who loves the masked guy at the end. Yeah, sure it's stupid, ridiculous, etc. But you know, what's kind of refreshing about it is that unlike the rest of the show (which is also stupid and ridiculous) at least at the ending they don't pretend that part's serious and real. To me, it doesn't pretend to be like the supposed reality we've been watching

Did Jake really go? And yes, the continuity people didn't catch Graham having the rose on his lapel before Michelle gave it to him...but I sure did!
