Which resorts have babysitting or children's activities? What has been your experience with them? Please share! I have a 1 1/2 year old and we hope to expand the family and have many enjoyable family vacations (but romantic evenings!) for a long time to come.

Poly, BCV and VWL and I think BWV have kids clubs in the evening, but children have to be 4 years old and potty trained.

You would need in room sitting. Several companies offer it in the Orlando area. We use Fairy Godmothers, and have always been very pleased. In fact, we'll probably continue to use them even though DS is now 4, so he can get to bed at a decent hour.

Disney recommends Kids Nite Out. You can check out their Web sites at kidsniteout.com.

Be warned there are lots of posters opposed to baby sitters, so some of them might lash out at you. But we use sitters all the time and have great luck with them.

We used Kids Nite Out back in March. The sitter was great! I can't remember the exactly what the charge was, but I thought that it was pretty reasonable, and in line with what the kids clubs charge. We've also used the kids clubs, and when your child is older, that will be another great option.

Also, the DVC resorts with Community Halls (BWV, OKW, SS, HHI and VB) have board games, and some organized activities for kids (an adult needs to be present).

I believe all deluxes have kids clubs. The Neverland club @ the Poly is the best, but children must be 4 and potty trained. Our children loved "Neverland" almost better than the parks. The kids have to climb thru Wendy's bedroom window to get in. WWWWWWWWAYYYYYYY COOL!!!! :rotfl: :yay:
