My wife and I will be going to the world in May Yippiee!!!! Well it gets better we will also have our 4 month old with us. We are also going along with 2 other couples who dont have kids and would like probably one or two nights out and was wondering if there are any babysitting services on site. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

There are a few that are used a lot by people here on the boards:
Kids Night Out and Fairy Godmothers are mentioned quite frequently.

I have never used either (yet) and don't have the contact info handy but if you do a search I'm sure you'll find threads with that information listed.

hth!

Thumbs up for KNO - we used them for DS(3) in Sept and friends used them over Thanksgiving holiday.

We were all very pleased with our sitters and would highly recommend them.

can any of them be used off property? We're staying in the Nick hotel and would LOVE a night out. Thank you.

We love Fairy Godmothers. Ask for Vera Kennedy or ____(another V that we can't remember!!!). Older grandmother types - very nice and our kids loved them (we have two girls 3 and 7). Also, several friends have used them succesfully, too.

We have used All About Kids three times now (once on each of our last annual vacations since 2003). Each time they have been WONDERFUL! I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of sitters. Each time my boys had such a wonderful day with the sitter that they begged for another "hotel day" with the sitter. Twice we had a sitter named Christina who is no longer with the company, she was a ball of energy and took the boys all over our resort and they had a blast playing with her on the playground, in the wading pool, playing mini golf and tons more. The last time we had a very nice grandma named Bonnie. She was GREAT with the boys. Again, tons of energy (my boys are ages 9, 6 and 4) and very entertaining. She brought movies with her, board games, coloring books, stickers and a great attitude. We left disposable cameras with each of our sons (we were staying at ASM) and asked her to take them around and take some pictures with them in it and allow them to take some of the larger than life movie icons...when we got them developed we saw picture after picture of our boys smiling and she gave us a journaled page that described each boy taking his pictures (ie "Jackson took the pictures of Woody's feet because he said he wanted to prove it really was Andy's "real" Woody" and "The pictures taken inside the soccerer's hat were Jason's idea. He was very excited about Mickey's magic hat".) Each time we felt very comfortable with the sitter's upon arrival (they come wearing "unifrom" shirts and they also have picture ID cards), they are all trained in first aid and CPR, have background checks, and come bearing toys and games to keep the kids busy (not that our boys ever spent much time in the room while the sitters were there). If you leave written permission they will take your kids all over the resort (even to the pools if you allow them, we only have two swimmers so we only allowed ours to go to the wading pool with the sitter). The rates seem pretty competitive and the fun our boys had while we were out enjoying ourselves (we do Discovery Cove each September for our anniversary :love2: ) so we didn't feel quite so guilty about leaving them to go out ourselves.

The website to find them is All-About-Kids

You will have to add the rest of the standard stuff in yourself as I don't have enough posts here to post a link directly :cloud9: My family would highly reccomend them! :sunny:
