Babysitting for 11 year old

I was wondering if anyone has ever used any of the babysitting services for an older child. MY dh and I would love to have a quiet romantic dinner but I would need to find arrangements for my 11 year old ds.

Any suggestions?

our families have used kids nite out (seperate service, no age limit, caregivers are 18+ & cpr certified, fee) at wdw as well as the kids clubs at the deluxe resorts for special occasions (ie polynesian neverland club, boardwalk harbour club 4:30pm-midnight, ages 4-12 potty trained, fee)

there's also a kids club on the disney cruise lines not sure about any info, but check out the disney cruise forum.

My kids are 6 & 10 and have stayed several times at The Neverland Club at the Polynesian and once at Simba's Cubhouse at the AKL and they loved them both. Kids can choose what they want to do - or not do. DD6 loves to do the arts & crafts and playing with the other kids. Sometimes DS10 finds someone to hang out with and sometimes he just plays his gameboy. The charge is $10/hour. I would suggest figuring out where you and DH would like to eat and then trying the club closest to that restaurant. (I believe the clubs take kids up to 12)

The first time we took our kids to the Neverland Club at the Poly, we thought they would be upset with us that we went out without them..........boy were we wrong! My oldest daughter, who is now 11, is begging us to leave them there again when we go back in July. Sadly, we don't want a night out without the kids this time!

Neverland Club is a great location because you have access to the restaurants at the CR, Poly, and GF. Your 11 year old will love it!
