Babysitting at CBB

We're travelling with two other couples and would like to go to Pleasure Island for an evening, has anyone ever used the babysitting services and do they offer it at CBB resort? My husband doesn't know if he likes the idea of this but we're at disney I'm sure this would be fine, right?

anyways kinderkare that wss on the disney grounds did in room sitting for those staying on site.


I think it was $8 an hour for our 2 kids with a 4 hr minimum

Our sitter was Barbara Porter and she was a nice grandmotherly type.
(I dont know why I remember this so good!!!)

our kids were 9 and 6 so they weren't little but she brought books and other things to do.


when we got back both kids were sleeping and she was by the table knitting.


I was nervous about leaving the kids with a stranger but it was through kinderkare which is nationwide and has a good reputation

Kid's clubs are offered at some resorts too, if you are nervous about a private sitter in your room. Price is not that much higher.

They close at 12 AM though. You might want to stay out later. Also: Kids have to be potty trained (not sure how old your's are)

I've never used the private sitter option. Only the kid's clubs. It's not that I was afraid, I just never needed a sitter when my kid's were too small to go to the clubs. Now- they hate the idea of a sitter, and missing out on the activities at the resort.

Do a search on the DIS. Fairy Godmothers is one I remember reading about. They get high praise, and people will give you names of their favorite sitters.

We used Kids Night Out (disneys recommended service) this past October for our grandaughter. It was excellent. Sitter was there from 8am to 10pm..we have her a break near dinner time so we could shower and change for the evening.
