Baby's first Mickey Mouse Ears??

Last night my DS and I were talking about some of the must buys for my niece while we're at disney. We want to get her a lanyard and a pin or two (we have 4 that came with a DVD) that way she'll have a bit of a collection by the time she's old enough to collect. We also agreed that we want to get her a balloon, because she loves balloons, and a mickey ice cream. Lastly, we want to get her Mickey Mouse ears.

However,

Do we get the traditional black hat and black ears?
Or the pink hat with the black ears?
Or do we do the customizable ones and let her go ahead and pick out what she wants? We know she's only 1.5 so any combination she chooses probably won't match, but it'll be hers and something she can have in the future that she made.

What do you all think? What would you do for baby's first Mickey Ears?

I think the baby(blue/pink) Mickey ears are adorable. I would wait until she was older for the others. The fun of customizing is picking things out-wait until she can do this herself.

DS 11 months has the black ears DH and I felt it was tradition. We figure he can make his own later on. The idea is very cute.

We got our DD the pink ones for an infant. They have the "baby princesses" on them. I think when we got them back in Jan. that the lady who monogramed them said that they were going to be discontinued though.

we got the ones that came with the first hair cut. classic mickey ears with "first haircut" monogramed on the back. If we hadn't have done that I would have bought the blue baby's first ears
